How to knit sweater from top down

This course will take more than one session

1) Casting on for the collar. How to increase for the yoke, whether with regular increases or raglan sleeves, and starting the pattern if applicable.

2) How to separate for sleeves and body, how to cast on with an open cast-on under the arms, and starting to knit the body.

3) How sleeves are knitted, decreased and bound off.

These would be 3 courses with some time in between, and it would be decided what would suit, when it would start, and when the subsequent courses would be held. It would also be possible to contact me in between if anything came up that required assistance. Each session is expected to be up to 3 hours, but people can leave when they feel they are on the right track.

Bring yarn and circular needles to be used for the garment. The circular needle can be quite long, up to 80 cm, and you will be taught how to use the magic loop. I can also provide a simple one-color sweater pattern.

Light refreshments will be offered.
