Two-color stranded mitten knitting with a two-color ribbing. The pattern is irregular and changes with every round. Long floats occur only in a few places, and these can be caught behind the third stitch back. Keep the pattern color close to you.

I've been playing with the idea for a few months now of making a hat and mitten pattern to mark the solar eclipse on August 12, 2026. No pattern idea came to me for a long time, but then this all came together, and I'm quite happy with the look and colors of the set. This set will be sold both as individual patterns and in gift bundles. I haven't decided yet whether this will be a limited-time set or whether it will remain available afterward.

Yarn: Natural knitting yarn, 85% Merino wool and 15% Nylon, 100 g / 400 m, or equivalent to achieve knitting stability.

Gaugh: 32 stitches = 10 cm on needles no. 3.5 [US 4].
