Sandra women's sweater - pattern
Sandra women's sweater - pattern
Sandra is knitted top down and can be left closed for a jumper, or open for a cardigan with buttons or a zipper. Starting with ribbing on collar, Chart 1 is knitted on yoke and at the same time increased, divided into body and sleeves and before coming to ribbing, knit Chart 2 before ribbing and then finished with ribbing, both on sleeves and body. I decided to start with contrast color 2 and finish with it. The sweater can be fitted as it is knitted from the top when you get down to the body and sleeves.
I was asked to knit a sweater for a foreign family member who is always cold, and what's better than Icelandic wool with a silk blend. I hope this sweater will keep her warm on cold days. I found this yarn suitable, and it will be very delicate with the shine of the silk.
