Viðja was knitted on my grandchild, but I got the name of the sweater from the second name of the other grandchild, surely it cannot be reconciled :-). He used this sweater a lot.
Viðja is knitted from Highland wool, from Garn í gangi in Akureyri, and I don't think I've knitted from a more wonderful yarn, and an incredible number of colors. You can choose between two patterns in the pattern.

Yarn: Katia, merino 100%.
Main color: 150 (150) 150 (200) 200 g.
Contrast color 2 : 100 (150) 150 (200) 200 g.
Needles: size 4 mm [US 6]and 4.5 -5 mm [US 7-8] double pointed needles and circular needles. 1 cable needle.
Gaugh: 10 cm = 19 l on needle size 4.5.

In the pattern there are two patterns that you can choose from, either diamonds or zigzag.
