Eyrarrós, hat and mittens - patterns

I have long found Eyrarrósin extremely beautiful and colourful in the Icelandic flora. Finally, I created the perfect colour combination for the flowers and decided to let the flowers lie in a bed of moss, which is not found in nature, but I feel these two colors work very well together. Eyrarrós has been waiting a long time to arrive in a gift kit and it has finally arrived.
I am very happy with the result and to celebrate I made a hat to match.

Traditional two-band hat and/or mitten knit with Latvian braid and simple ribbing. The pattern is regular and easy. Long bands (carried yarn) are formed only in a few places, which can be fixed in every third loop behind.
Easy to follow instructions and links to explanatory videos are included, needles are not included. The yarn is 85% merino wool / 15% nylon, wonderful to knit with.

Yarn: Natural knitting yarn, 85% merino wool and 15% nylon, 100 g / 400 m, or equivalent to achieve knitting stability.
Needles: Sock knitting needles no. 3 [US 2.5] and 3.5 [US 4].
Gaugh: 32 stitches = 10 cm on needles no. 3.5 [US 4].
Other: Auxiliary tape for marking thumb loops, needle markers.

Hat:
Size : Depth 22 [8.75 in] cm, circumference 56 cm[32 in] .
Main colour: Mosagrænn (Mossgreen), 40 g [1.5 oz] .
Contrast colour: Fjólubleikur (Pink violet), 25 g[0.9 oz] .

Mittens:
Size : Length 27 cm [10.5 in], circumference 19 cm [7.5 in].
Main colour: Mosagrænn (Mossgreen), 40 g [1.5 oz] .
Contrast colour: Fjólubleikur (Pink violet), 30 g [1.1 oz] .
