I have long found Eyrarrós extremely beautiful and colourful among the Icelandic flora. I finally found the right colour for the flowers and decided to let them rest in a bed of moss – not their true setting, but I think these two colours work beautifully together. Eyrarrós waited a long time to become a gift kit, and now it is finally here. I am very happy with the result, and to celebrate I made a matching hat.
Traditional stranded colourwork hat and/or mittens with a Latvian braid and simple ribbing. The pattern is regular and easy. Long floats occur only in a few places, and they can be caught every third stitch at the back.
Clear instructions with links to tutorial videos are included. Needles are not included. The yarn is 85% merino wool / 15% nylon and wonderful to knit with.
