Blóðberg is one of my favorite flowers. The colour, the smell and the delicacy of the flower fascinates me and I always enjoy seeing this beautiful flower out in nature on my walks above Hafnarfjörður.
Traditional two-coloured hat and / or mitten knit with Latvian braid and a simple rib. The pattern is irregular. Long bands (carried yarn) are formed only in a few places, which can be fixed in every third loop behind.
Yarn: Náttúruprjóns hand-dyed yarn, 85% Merino wool and 15% Nylon, 100 g/ 400 m or equivalent to achieve knitting stability.
Needles: Sock knitting needles no. 3 [US 2.5] and 3.5 [US 4.0].
Gaugh: 32 stitches = 10 cm on needle size 3.5 [US 4.0] .
Other: 1 knitting marker.
